Amy Kernan

As Principal at Oxeon, Amy brings two decades of experience guiding health systems, physician groups, and innovators through transformation. 

Amy’s path began in hospital administration and practice operations, where she saw firsthand the daily friction clinicians and patients experience. That foundation shaped her no-nonsense approach to fixing problems at scale. At Optum, she led client services for 6,000+ providers, building financial and operational strategies that drove measurable results. 

Most recently, Amy served as Vice President of Client Engagement at AVIA, the nation’s leading digital innovation network for health systems. There she worked shoulder-to-shoulder with C-suite leaders to turn digital ambition into clinical and financial results. There she also advised emerging health ventures, bringing a seasoned executive lens to early-stage innovation.

Now at Oxeon, Amy is doubling down on her belief that the future of healthcare will be built by brave leaders and bold ideas. Her role is equal parts connector, strategist, and challenger — making sure vision doesn’t just inspire but delivers.

Amy earned her MBA in Health Organization Management from Texas Tech University. Originally from West Texas, she now calls Seattle home, where life outside of work revolves around her husband, three teenage sons, and a perpetual hunt for decent Tex-Mex in the Pacific Northwest.
