Matt Lefkowitz

Matt is a Senior Associate in the Oxeon Venture Studio where he works to launch new healthcare companies and helps manage the firm's investment strategy. He is passionate about creating positive societal change in healthcare through innovative approaches and new technologies.

Before joining Oxeon, Matt spent time on Secondment in a Strategic Ops capacity with B Capital, a $6B global early-stage multi-sector investment firm. There, he led critical analytics and presentations, guiding portfolio management strategies and managing key relationships with partners like BCG.Mattwas particularly energized by the healthcare portfolio, which included both Biotech and Digital Health / Health IT .

Matt began his career at the Boston Consulting Group, where he supported F-500 companies, especially healthcare manufacturers, on various functional strategies. His experience spans biopharma, medical equipment, consumer health, and other non-healthcare subsectors as well.  

Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in International Relations with minors in Economics and Spanish. He grew up in Westchester, NY, and currently resides in Manhattan. Outside of the office, Matt is an avid sports fan and can often be found amongst the city's public basketball and soccer forums. He also enjoys board and card games, especially Settlers of Catan, chess, and backgammon.
